Default Weapon mods of slaying

Other than charrslaying daggers in eotn, are they available for daggers, spears, or scythes? Also, do they drop in factions and nightfall or just prophecies?

According to Wiki, there are slaying mods for every melee weapon except for Scythes and Spears.

Well a sword or hammer isn't that rare. Search for one on guru. I haven't found any for daggers yet. Or scythe or spear for that matter.

Same as finding a tenguslayer for axe/sword lol.
Been looking for them too. Drop location will be great, but it's totally random and that makes em extremly hard to get.
Even paying lot of cash for one...

I'd want proof of a slaying mod on daggers, as I've personally never seen one, nor has anyone I know ever seen one, and I've looked for quite awhile for a dwarfslaying dagger mod, belive me. (And with how commonly everything else is, you'd think daggers would have shown up ONCE, wether or not it's a max mod)

As far as I can tell... Shields, Foci, Staves, Swords, Axes, Hammers, and Bows are the only available slaying mods, save for charrslaying weapons in EoTN, which cannot be salvaged off anyway.

Also, as to the post above... finding demonslaying shouldn't be too hard, most people recognize the usefulness and save them. I <3 My demonslaying weapon set for my warrior... R8 embossed aegis +10vs demons, -2(stance) and a Zealous Tormented Axe of Demonslaying (20%)

They can drop pretty much anywhere, but some places seem to have a higher chance for certain slaying(s). As a general rule, the area that those monsters are contained are "more likely" to have slaying of that type, however Celestial Shields seem more prone to have +10 vs dragons than anything. (I've personally gotten 3 +10 vs dragons celestial shields)

I swear I had a blue scythe of pruning back when NF first came out, but I am probably wrong.

I had a thread going in the Q&A for a long time - wasn't able to confirm their existence.

See the thread here

If you claim they exist: screen shot or it didn't happen

I bumped into a guy buying slaying mods for daggers a few weeks ago. Told him there weren't any and he directed me to Wiki. Although it states that slaying dagger handles exist, I have yet to see one.

I have been collecting those slayer mods for a while now and I never came across daggers or spear versions of the slaying mods.

Following examples are somewhat of the more 'rare' ones in my humble little collection:

vs. Undeath are the ones I get most of the time, some demon slaying ones too and a few vs skeletons here and there. Only got one perfect charrslaying one over the last 3 years. Sold that one for 30k to a ranger when Eotn came out. Saw that guy in town every day for almost a week trying to find one. In the end I thought what the hell, it's just getting dust in my storage so might wanne help this dude out.

I got a set of daggers with a Pruning mod (imperfect) on them. I didn't think anything of them (other than "Pruning??? Yippee! I can make a salad") until now. They went to the merchant.

Same here. Pity that I never kept imperfect mods. But it might be that my memory is playing jokes with me.

This is just my observation: Non inscribables (weapons in Prophecies and Factions) seem to come with vs. anything in their respective campaign. Inscribable weapons seem to only come with vs. undead. So no vs. dwarfs on daggers because there are no dwarfs in Factions and daggers don't drop in Prophecies.

I wish they would add more vs. for coming on inscribables. I want vs. froggies!!

You do realize that "slaying" upgrades only effect the weapon itself, and not spells cast? (I.E. Staff wrappings of Slaying are worthless, it gives +20% damage to wanding against that monster type, and if you're wanding you're a worthless whatever you are.)

You do realize that sometimes people collect things just for the sake of collecting?
